(Lake Success - June 9, 2008) VNR Home Care's 2008 golf outing and fundraiser was a success and a great time for all who participated. VNR Board member Tom Lawlor chaired the event, which honored VNR's former President and CEO, Maxine Hochhauser. The golf outing and dinner was held to raise money for the Brooklyn Visiting Nurse Foundation. The Foundation fund supports VNR's mission of caring for all in our community regardless of their ability to pay and supports other non-profit activities in our community.
The event featured golfers enjoying the beautiful course at Fresh Meadows Country Club in Lake Success, New York. It was followed by a reception, dinner, raffle and awards ceremony.
VNR is especially grateful to our corporate benefactors, Allen Home Care and FHS; our reception sponsors, Best Care and Simione Consultants, and all of the event sponsors and generous donors who supported the fundraiser. Their generosity will resonate throughout the communities we serve.
